Digital Division Launches New WomenHeart Website

Digital Division launched the newly designed and developed WomenHeart Web site. The new Web site uses a powerful, best-of-breed content management system (CMS), CommonSpot by PaperThin, which enables WomenHeart's staff to add and update Web content without the help of a Web developer.
A customized Miva Merchant shopping cart solution was also created for this site. In addition a custom calendar of events and bulletin board were created for WomenHeart and integrated into their new CMS.
To help WomenHeart with their e-marketing efforts, Lyris ListManager was installed on their new server. This program allows WomenHeart to easily create broadcast emails and track their success rate.
For powerful and easy-to-use search functionality, Digital Division installed and customized a Google Mini search appliance. In addition to searching pages quickly and accurately, the Google Mini searches PDFs, Word documents, and other files to return the results that visitors are looking for.
Digital Division also upgraded and migrated the WomenHeart's databases and Web servers to greatly improve the website's overall performance. After this optimization, WomenHeart is experiencing faster performance and is ready for big media hits, traffic increases, and ongoing growth of its organization and membership.
